What is Construction Aggregate?

Construction Aggregate is sand, gravel and crushed rock, made from naturally occurring minerals.

Aggregate makes up 80-90% of concrete and asphalt.

Concrete is the second most consumed material in the world after water.

Aggregate Uses

Roads, Hospitals, Houses, Stadiums, Sidewalks, Schools, etc.
Fact: There is 4.36 million cubic yards of concrete in the Hoover Dam. (Enough to build a 4 foot sidewalk around the equator.)

Construction Aggregate needs by common use:

Every Person in San Diego County Consumes 5.4 tons per year

One lane-mile of highway = > 20,000 tons
Average Hospital = 15,000 tons
Average Home = 90 tons
